USEI announces release of MS55i2, 5MP LED Grayscale diagnostic monitor for Mammography and Tommosynthesis
5/22/2014, Minneapolis, USA – U.S. Electronics, Inc. (USEI) has released the Totoku MS55i2 monitor, a new 5MP grayscale monitor with LED backlight for Mammography use. The improved 5MP measures 21.3” in diagonal, has native resolution of 2048 x 2560 pixels and is equipped with Independent Sub pixel Drive(ISD) technology to accept higher resolution output from modality devices to display 2048 x 7680 sub-pixels in ISD mode. The monitor displays 10-bit grayscale and supports both DisplayPort and DVI interfaces, exhibits a 1200:1 contrast ratio and maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. The monitor is factory calibrated at 500 nits to support all requirements in the mammography field, including tommosynthesis.
