U.S. Electronics, Inc. to Release to market Ultra High Bright 3MP, 2MP color LCDs CCL354i2, CCL254i2 for Diagnostic Imaging - PACS and Modalities -- April 17, 2008
Minneapolis, MN April 17th, 2008: USEI has introduced new 3MP (CCL354i2), 2MP (CCL254i2) color LCDs. These models have a maximum luminance of 800cd/m² (3MP) and 950cd/m² respectively. The new color LCDs reproduces accurately monochrome images with the same quality as monochrome LCDs. These LCDs address the increasing usage of concurrent monochrome and color medical images. The new LCDs provide greater benefits to users by enhancing user convenience while reducing costs. Color medical images used in systems such as 3D renderings, endoscopes, and ultrasound diagnostic systems are on the rise. It has become more important in making accurate diagnoses to view the color and X-ray monochrome images alongside one another. In order to meet this demand, color LCDs are required to accurately reproduce both color images and high-quality monochrome images. The new Engineering models was exhibited at the 17th Meeting of the Japanese Association of Breast Cancer Screening held in Pacifico Yokohama from November 21 to 22, and at RSNA 2007 (Radiological Society of North America) in Chicago, U.S.A.
